QMA Schools Winner HANNI drops 'Crazy'
Brisbane based singer/songwriter HANNI recently won the Queensland Music Awards Schools Award for her previous single 'Wired'.
On her newly released single 'Crazy' HANNI combines her alternative style with a poppy, catchy melody on a bright track about having an intense crush on someone.
“Crazy is about liking someone for a long time, but because of timing, factors out of your control and outside influences you have never taken that next step.” Explains HANNI. “You both know that there has always been something between you, something that keeps pulling you together, something uncontrollable, denying your feelings is making you crazy, but you’re both afraid that admitting you’re more than friends will change your whole world forever.”
Working hard in 2019, HANNI performed unofficially at BIGSOUND and won the 2019 Triple J Unearthed High Yearbook - Fashion Forward Award. Her debut single ‘Wired’ received over 100,000 streams collectively across Spotify and Apple Music. Furthermore, HANNI supported international the UK's Nathan Ball on his Australian Tour.
Drawing inspiration from artists such as Sasha Sloan and Olivia O'Brien, HANNI’s refreshing take on pop and evolving production style highlights the potential within this blooming artist. With more live shows on the way and a disco ball full of tunes, HANNI is only just beginning.
